William Jeffrey Wakefield

William Jeffrey Wakefield age 51 of Mayes Ave., Springfield, died at 10:00 am Thursday, December 29, 2022 at his residence.

Born January 10, 1971 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Denise Wakefield.

He was a 1989 graduate of Washington County High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Mary Logan Wakefield, and a sister, Debbie Wakefield (Mark Hale) of Springfield.

Funeral mass for William Jeffrey Wakefield will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark and Tim Newby, Steve Gerton, Tony Lynn Churchill, Joe McWhorter and Tyrone Thompson.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Monday and again from 7:00 am till 10:30 am Tuesday morning.
