Travis DeWayne "Monkey" Smith age 46 of Fredericktown, died Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his residence.
Born January 27, 1977 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his father, James Patrick "Jim" Smith, January 18, 2000 and a nephew, Preston Medley, July 5, 2000.
He was a 1996 graduate of Washington County High School, was owner and operator of Smith Lawn Service and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown.
He is survived by his parents, Catherine Carrico Smith (Leo) McIntyre of Fredericktown, two daughters, Kayla Ingram of Bardstown and Jessie Ingram of Louisville, two brothers, Jeremy (Brenda) Smith of Fredericktown and Michael (Marsha) McIntyre of Louisville, two sisters, Dr. Kelley (David Dillard) McIntyre of Louisville and Beth (Dr. Michael) St. Peter of Madison, Alabama, a special friend, Jennifer Hall of Springfield, two grandchildren, Madison and Aubrey Wieber, four nieces, Emily, Savanah, Lyla and Madelyn St. Peter, four nephews, Patrick Lee Smith, Jake, Levi and Samuel McIntyre and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral mass for Travis DeWayne Smith will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. Michael Martin officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Evan Carrico, Jonathan Rapier, Trevor Hibbs, Mike and Hunter Donahue, James Osbourne, Steve Taylor and Mark Wheatley.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Wednesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Thursday morning.
