Terry Francis "Mudbone" Mattingly age 59 of Edelen Lane, Springfield, died at 7:45 am Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born September 15, 1959 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Francis Mattingly, May 29, 2018 and Teresa Marie Abell Mattingly, December 19, 2017 and a brother-in-law, Eddie Carrico, May 4, 1999.
He was a 1977 graduate of Marion County High School and was a life long farmer in Washington County.
He is survived by four brothers, Mike (Cheryl) Mattingly, Kevin (Amanda) Mattingly and Todd (Cindy) Mattingly all of Springfield and Greg (Angie) Mattingly of Lebanon, three sisters, Pam (Danny) Marks of Lebanon, Debbie (Mark) Collard of Lexington and Lisa Carrico and the late Eddie Carrico of Springfield, 21 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 13,2018 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath,O.P. officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Bryan and Zach Carrico, Devin, Ryan, Stuart, Brad, Tyler and Cody Mattingly and Scott Collard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Bland, Michael Thompson, Jimmy Maupin, Greg Beaven, Kendall Barnett, Michael McCain, Billy Livers and Daniel Simms.
Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 4:00 till 8:00 pm on Monday and again from 7:00 am till 10:15 am on Tuesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday.
