Susan Alice (Osborne) Montgomery

Susan Alice Osborne Montgomery age 79 of Lebanon, formerly of Washington County, passed away at 9:01 am Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Baptist Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Born July 16, 1946 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leonard Osborne Sr. and Mary Alice Elder Osborne, three brothers, J.L. Osborne Jr., Larry and Martin Osborne and a sister, Mary Frances Puckett.

She was a graduate of Fredericktown High School, had been a production worker at Jideco in Bardstown and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Jeremy (Kierston) Montgomery of Louisville, two daughters, Melissa Montgomery (Chris Karlsen) of New Haven and Leigh Ann (Keith) Blandford of Boston, two brothers, Fred (Ginny Ann) Osborne of Bardstown and Tommy (Margaret) Osborne of Botland, 7 grandchildren, Hunter and Justin Brown, MaKayla, Michael and Kevin Montgomery, Elijah Perez and Blake Blandford and one great grandchild, Lani Montgomery.

Funeral mass for Susan Alice Osborne Montgomery will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, June 15, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. Joaquin Kenney, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Brown, Elijah Perez, Michael and Kevin Montgomery, Blake Blandford and Brian Puckett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Brown and MaKayla Montgomery.

A prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm Sunday, June 14 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am Monday morning.
