Stephen Thomas "Tom" Filiatreau age 65, of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his residence.
Born July 17, 1955 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rucker Filiatreau, May 4, 1970 and Mary Eloise Auberry Filiatreau, January 10, 1998 and a brother, Joe Bernard Filiatreau, June 20, 2010.
He was a 1973 graduate of Washington County High School, built tennis courts for Louisville Paving Co. for 23 years and was a heavy equipment operator for M & J Construction Co. for 13 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Cambron Filiatreau, a son, Shawn (Stephanie) Filiatreau of Bardstown, a daughter, Therese (Frankie) Cox of Fredericktown, three brothers, John Robert (Marlena) Filiatreau, Bill (Mary) Filiatreau and Frank (Debbie) Filiatreau all of Fredericktown, a sister, Mary Ellen (Steve) Leachman of Fredericktown, four grandchildren, Landen and Eli Cox and Cambron and Spencer Filiatreau.
Funeral mass for Stephen Thomas "Tom" Filiatreau will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. Michael Martin officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Spalding, Bryan Barry, Kevin Tennill, Darrell Smothers, Jody Yates, Cole Wimsatt, Ben Simms and Jacob Cochran.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, July 2, 2021 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Friday and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am Saturday morning.
