My family will be forever grateful to Sr. Maria for her influence in our lives.  She was a mentor to us in St. Paul, a "grandmother" to our children, and a source of joy, love, and peace.  We enjoyed so much laughter with Sister.  She will always be remembered for her great faith, her massive amount of thoughtfulness, and her generosity which was beyond measure.  The last few times we visited in Kentucky, we had time to reminisce, to share our faith, and to laugh out loud.  God bless you, Sister!
