Shirley Ann Yates Burns age 64, of New Haven, formerly of Washington County, died at 1:30 am Monday, June 19, 2023 at Sansbury Care Center at St. Catharine.
Born June 5, 1959 in Bardstown, she was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Catherine Ruth Spalding Yates, two sisters, Janie Yates and Rosie Albin and a niece, Katie Cobb.
She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
She is survived by a brother, Jody (Dianne) Yates of Fredericktown, four sisters, Brenda Lewis of New Haven, Mary Ann (Timmy) Judd of Lawrenceburg, Susie (Jerry) Basham of Madisonville and Rita (Bryan) Lanham of Springfield, six nieces and nephews, Christina (Monroe) Derringer, Jimmy Lewis, Kyle Judd, Kennedy Lanham, Kelly (Aaron) Hall and Amanda (Patrick) Spagnuolo.
Funeral services for Shirley Ann Yates Burns will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. David Farrell officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lewis, Bryan Lanham, Jerry Basham, Glen Spalding, Monroe Derringer and Kyle Judd.
Visitation will be from 8:30 am till time of service at 11:00 am Thursday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home.
