Sherri Ann (Lucas) Osbourne

Sherri Ann Lucas Osbourne age 59 of Armory Hill, Springfield, died at 12 noon Friday, July 14, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville in the Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Born September 2, 1963 in Lebanon, She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy Lucas, October 29, 2013 and Elizabeth Althaire Smith Lucas, January 10, 2021.

She was a graduate of Washington County High School and received her associate degree from Watterson College in Louisville, she was assistant city clerk for the City of Springfield for over 20 years and had also been assistant city clerk for the city of Buechel in Louisville.  She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Stephen (Jessica) Osbourne of Lexington and Frankie Osbourne of Bardstown, a daughter, Mary (Ben) Osbourne of Chicago, Illinois, a brother, Donnie (Jenny) Lucas of Bardstown, 4 grandchildren, Skyler, Lucas, Kylee and Christian Osbourne.

Cremation was chosen at her request and a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Monday, July 24, 2023 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm.  A memorial funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
