Sandra "Sandy" (Curtsinger) Benham

Sandra "Sandy" Curtsinger Benham age 67 of Haydon Brothers Rd., Springfield, passed away at 10:40 pm Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Born December 22, 1958 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sue Ann Byrd Curtsinger.

She had worked at Angell Mfg. Co. in Lebanon, Fruit of the Loom in Frankfort, SPI and Marion Adjustment Center.  She was a member of Brush Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Benham, two sons, Lawrence DeWayne (Emma) Benham and Fred Benham of Springfield, a daughter, Mary Riggs of Lebanon, five brothers, Ricky (Ruthie) Curtsinger, Tony (Tracey) Curtsinger, and Joe (Penny) Curtsinger all of Harrodsburg, Timmy (Angie) Curtsinger of Campbellsville and Davis (Sherry) Curtsinger of Willisburg, three sisters, Debra Curtsinger, Tonya (Mike) Deacon and Angie Goodlett all of Willisburg, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Sandra "Sandy" Curtsinger Benham will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Bro. Everett Hood officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Luke Benham, Josh Reynolds, Josh Deacon, Brandon Cornett, Cody Curtsinger, Jonathan Trent

Visitation will be from 3:30 pm till 8:00 pm Friday, April 17 and again from 8:00 am till time of the service on Saturday.
