Obituary
Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Smith age 70 of Frankfort, formerly of Springfield, died at 6:12 pm Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Born September 15, 1952 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sylvester Smith and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton and three sisters, Barbara and Marilyn Smith and Mildred Hamilton.
He was a mechanic with Brims Muffler Shop in Frankfort for 30 years and was a catholic. He was an organ and tissure donor.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Richardson Smith of Frankfort, a son, Chris Tucker of Springfield, a daughter, Tia Marie Smith of North Carolina, a sister, Jeanette (James) Edelen of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Smith will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating. Cremation will follow the services with the burial of his cremains in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am till time of services at 1:00 pm on Friday.
