Robert Dale Mann

Robert Dale Mann age 60 of Bardstown Rd., Springfield, died Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his residence.

Born October 21, 1963 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Mann, January 26, 2012 and Shirley Diane Smith Mann, August 2, 1996 and his mother-in-law Ann Liggett.

He was a 1982 graduate of Marion County High School, he was a master plumber, was a partner with his father in Earl Mann Backhoe Co. for several years, was a member of Council 4270 Knights of Columbus in Springfield and was the Road Foreman for Washington County Fiscal Court for the last 13 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne Liggett Mann, a son, Alex Mann of Springfield, a daughter, Kayla Mann of Louisville, a sister, Sheila (Kirt) Thomas of Canton, Georgia and three grandchildren, Easton and Kinzley Cruz and Millie Leake.

Funeral mass for Robert Dale Mann will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, September 19, 2024 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. David Farrell and Rev. Pier Giorgio Dengler, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alex Mann, Kirt Thomas, John Settles, John King, Wesley Smith, J.P. Blandford, Jackson Liggett and Easton Cruz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Washington County Road Department and member of Washington County Fiscal Court.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Wednesday and and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Thursday morning.
