Patrick Kevin Boone

Patrick Kevin Boone age 66, of Short Creek Rd., Fredericktown, died at 3:33 pm Thursday at his residence.

He was born August 8, 1955 to Louis Menke Boone Sr. and Margaret Regina Clements Boone.  He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Menke Boone Sr. and a brother, Louis Menke Boone Jr., July 17, 2020.

He was a 1973 graduate of Washington County High School, was a U.S. Navy veteran having served on the USS Mount Vernon where he was a hull technician, was owner and partner of Boone Sheet Metal in Springfield since 1987 and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle Hamilton Boone, three sons, Brian Boone of Ashland, KY, Matthew (Anna) Boone of Fredericktown and Tatum Boone of Springfield, three daughters, Regina (Todd) Johnson of Bardstown, Maggie (Austin) Spalding of Springfield and Molly Boone of Fredericktown, his mother, Jean Clements Boone of Springfield, a brother, Fred (Betsy) Boone of Springfield, a sister, Nancy (Bill) Clark of Lexington, 8 grandchildren, Reece Spalding, Dylan Boone, Brady Johnson, Avery Boone, Anderson Spalding, Briar Boone, Asher Armani and Theo Johnson.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, April 4, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. Tom Clark officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery with military honors to be conducted by Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. 

Pallbearers will be Jack Osbourn, Nolin Boone, Joey McDonald, Todd Maupin, Tommy Ashbaugh, Ames O'Nan, Kevin Buckler and Butch Clements.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday by Deacon Earl Baker.  Visitation will be from 3:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 10:00 am Monday morning at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home.
