Nancy Joyce Hardin

Nancy Joyce Hardin age 84, formerly of West High St., Springfield, died at 8:20 am Monday, February 21, 2022 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. She had been a resident of Springfield Nursing & Rehab for the last 4 years.

Born November 23, 1937 in Washington County, she was preceded in death by father, Rastus Hardin, March 16, 1997, her mother, Hazel Haydon Hardin, March 23, 2003, her brother, Cosby "Bud" Hardin, May 23, 2005, a niece, Debbie Barber and a great niece, Natalie Noel both on November 8, 1989.

She was a graduate of St. Catharine Junior College and Nazareth College in Louisville, was a teacher at Willisburg Elementary School for 10 years and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Martha Ann Hardin of Springfield, 2 nieces, Denise (Jerry) Russell of Springfield and Donna (David) White of Willisburg, 4 great nieces, Megan Blanford, Lauren Herth, Grace and Madison White, a great nephew, Wesley Russell, a great great niece, Kyndra Blanford and a great great nephew, Mason Blanford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am Friday, February 25, 2022 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Chesser officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Willisburg.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Russell, David White, Wesley Russell, Adam Herth, Michael Blanford and Bill Hardin.

Visitation will be from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Thursday, February 24 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home and again from 7:00 am till time of service on Friday morning.
