Mildred Elizabeth Hamilton

Mildred Elizabeth Hamilton age 80 of East High St., Springfield, died at 10:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2022 at her residence.

Born on November 19, 1942 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Kennedy and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, two sisters, Barbara and Marilyn Smith her lifetime companion, Australia Poole, January 8, 2022.

She was a homemaker, had worked in housekeeping at Medco Center for 14 years and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She is survived by four sons, Greg (Barbara) Hamilton of Frankfort, John Hamilton of Lebanon, Richie (Crystal) Hamilton and Chad (Kendrah) Hamilton all of Springfield, three daughters, Valerie (Dohnyal) Thompson and Alicia (George) Sickles all of Louisville and Roxanna Hamilton of Springfield, a brother, Ronald (Cathy) Smith of Frankfort, and a sister, Jeanette (James) Edelen of Springfield, 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral mass for Mildred Elizabeth Hamilton will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Javin and Cedrick Hamilton, Dohnyal Thompson, Timmy Marshall, Trevor Railley and Nathaniel Keene.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 5:00 till 8:00 pm Friday and again from 7:00 am till 10:30 am Saturday morning.
