Mary Lou (Hamilton) Robertson

Mary Lou Hamilton Robertson age 69 of Mockingbird Dr., Springfield, died at 10:41 pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

Born August 14, 1953 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William and Mary Christine Osbourne Hamilton and a brother, Phillip Hamilton.

She was a 1971 graduate of Washington County High School, worked as a bank teller at the former First & Peoples Bank, BB&T and Springfield State Bank, was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church where she served on the church choir and bell choir, was a Eucharist minister and a member of the Altar Society. Mary Lou was a tissue donor to KY Organ Donor Affiliates.

She is survived by her husband, Hammy Robertson, two sons, Alexander H. (Claudia Valarezo) Robertson III of Lexington and Charles Adam Robertson of Lakeside, Montana, four brothers, Larry (Betty Nell) Hamilton and Ronnie (Phyllis) Hamilton all of Springfield, Ralph Hamilton of Harrodsburg and Hal (Lisa) Hamilton of Elizabethtown, five sisters, Susan (Joe) Smith of Springfield, Joyce (Joe) Spalding of Lebanon, Ann (Tim) Grigsby of Mooresville, Barbie (Gary) Hobbs and Michelle (Bernie) Boone all of Bardstown.

Funeral mass for Mary Lou Hamilton Robertson will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, March 16, 2023 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Hamilton and Rev. David Farrell officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hal, Larry and Ronnie Hamilton, Adam and Alex Robertson and Jonathan Jones.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 15 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Wednesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Thursday morning.

Contributions are suggested to St. Dominic Altar Society for new vestments for altar servers.
