Mary Deloise Wright Logan age 78, of Beechland Rd., Springfield, died at 5:10 am Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her residence.
Born September 15, 1944 in Springfield, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Harrison and Catherine Linton Wright, a son, Philip Andre Spalding, a brother, James Russell Wright and a sister, Cathy Railey.
She worked as a seamstress at Cowden Mfg. Co., was a homemaker and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Richard Logan, a daughter, Angela Logan (Brian) Edwards of Louisville, a son, Charles A. (Ann) Warner of Lexington, a brother, Joseph Wright of Louisville, two sisters, Robbie Jean Young of Louisville and Cecelia "Tootie" Hickman of Bardstown, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral mass for Mary Deloise Wright Logan will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, March 20, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Allen Railey, Robert and Steve Gerton, Rusty Wright, David Young, Matthew Young and Gary and Marion Lee Hickman Jr.
Honorary pallbearer will be Mose Smalley.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, March 19 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 5:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 10:30 am Monday morning.
Contributions are suggested to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
