Mary Jane Lindsey Taylor age 71 of Cane Run Rd., Fredericktown, died at 8:01 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
Born October 21, 1950 in Nelson County, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Rudolph and Martha Alberta Hutchins Lindsey, her husband, Louis Taylor, March 28, 2007 and a son, Edwin Taylor, March 20, 2020.
She was the Postmaster at St. Catharine Motherhouse and Loretto Post Office for 15 years, she was Manager at Our Lady of the Rosary School and had worked at Communicare. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Jennifer) Taylor of Fredericktown, two brothers, Danny (Pam) Lindsey and David Lindsey all of Bardstown, a sister, Sharon (Keith) Blandford of Louisville, six grandchildren, Jenna (Ethan) Wheat, Gavin, Dustin, Haylee, Trenton and Alexis Taylor and two great grandchildren, Adalynn and Scarlett Wheat.
Funeral services for Mary Jane Lindsey Taylor will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Deacon Joe Ray Dant officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gavin, Trenton, Dustin and Kevin Taylor, Scott Lindsey and Shawn Blandford.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Tuesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am Wednesday morning.
The family has requested that face masks and social distancing be observed both at the funeral home and the church please.
