Mary Jane (Reed) Cornish

Mary Jane Reed Cornish age 72 of Louisville, formerly of Springfield, died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born November 1, 1947 in Louisville, she was preceded in death by her father, James Davidson "Fannie" Reed, Jr., January 14, 1996.

She had worked as a Technician for Louisville Optical, chaired the Jr. Miss program in the late 70s during its inception, and was a catholic.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Cornish of Louisville, her mother, Juanita Mudd Reed of Bardstown, two sons, James L. (Amy) Mattingly Jr. of Lexington and Brian (Theresa) Mattingly of Springfield, two daughters, Christina Marie (Hal) Moberly of Lexington and Ann Mattingly of Louisville, a brother, Jimmie (Crystal) Reed of Bardstown, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Cremation was chosen and there are no services planned at this time.
