Martha was preceded in death by her parents, a brother (Tom in 1984), and a sister (Becky in 2017).

Martha leaves behind a daughter, Shannon Waldron, and a granddaughter Sydney Olivia Waldron, who was her pride and joy. Martha’s remaining siblings are Joe (Cathy) Warren, Marion (Joan) Warren, Francine Prechtel, Eileen Watts, John (Jeannine) Warren, Steve Warren, Barbara Guenthner, Mark (Helen) Warren, Jeanine (Bill) Fowler, Lois (Roscoe) Burns, Carol Warren, and Ann (Shane) Greenwell. Martha graduated from Washington County High School in Springfield, KY in 1971. She began her professional career the same year at Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville, KY. When it closed, she became a federal government contractor. Her job took her to Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and finally Indiana. She worked from home for Nashville VA Hospital until she retired on May 24 of this year.

In the course of her work, she earned a Master of Business Administration degree. Martha enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, quilting, and landscaping her yard. She also enjoyed her furry friends, a Shih Tzu named Zeke, an Aussie named Nala, and a stray cat named Indy.
