Margaret Regina "Jean" (Clements) Boone

Margaret Regina "Jean" Clements Boone age 95, of Bearwallow Rd., Springfield, died at 8:36 pm Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her residence.

Born August 30, 1928 in Louisville, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Anthony and Martha Montgomery Clements, her husband, Louis Menke Boone Sr., August 14, 1977, two sons, Louis Menke Boone Jr., July 17, 2020 and Patrick Kevin Boone, March 31, 2022, four brothers, Jimmy, Gerald, John Pat and Tom Clements and four sisters, Geraldine Coleman, Tillie Coomes, Juanita Janes and Sue Ray.

She was a graduate of St. Catharine Academy, was a bookkeeper for her brothers at All Weather Insulation, worked at the law office of Smith Barlow in Bardstown and Billy Tingle auto dealership in Springfield.  She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Fred (Besty) Boone of Springfield, a daughter, Nancy (Bill) Clark of Lexington, three brothers, Fred Clements Jr., Bob Lee Clements and Butch (Marcia) Clements all of Lexington, a sister, Marilyn Ballard of Bardstown, 46 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral mass for Margaret Regina "Jean" Boone will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, December 11, 2023 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Edmund Ditton, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George, Geoff, Brian, Matt, Louis and John Luke Boone.

A prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm Sunday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 3:30 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Monday morning.
