Lillie Margaret Smith

Lillie Margaret Smith age 86 of Loveland, Ohio formerly of Lincoln Park Rd., Springfield, died at 3:00 am Monday, January 1, 2024 at The Otterbein House in Loveland, Ohio.

Born April 6, 1937 in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Emma Rose Baker Smith, her husband, James Felton Smith, September 20, 2011 a son, William Jeffrey Smith, April 14, 1975, and a granddaughter Shayna Smith.

She was a homemaker, had worked in the lunchroom at Washington County High School and had worked at Cowden Mfg. Co. in Springfield several years ago. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She is survived by four sons, James Timothy (Eli) Smith of Versailles, Mark Kelly Smith, Eric Demont Smith and Derrick Lamont Smith all of Lexington, two daughters, Tywana Maria (Brian) Smith of Westchester, Ohio and Margaret Michelle (Rod) Buttars of Maidsville, West Virginia, two sisters, Baker Croley of Lexington and Janice Edelen of Lebanon, seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam and Matthew Hein, Kayla Smith and Wesley Smith and Peyton and Cole Davis.

Funeral mass for Lillie Margaret Smith will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Pier Giorgio Dengler, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am till time of services at noon on Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
