Kimberly Annette Matherly Kelty, age 58, of Tick Creek Rd., Springfield, died at 1:01 am Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
Born April 18, 1965 in Harrodsburg, she was preceded in death by her father, Gary Marvin Matherly, a daughter, Erica Renee Kelty, Nov. 24, 1989 and a son, Bryan Kelty, Nov. 13, 2016.
She was a 1983 graduate of Washington County High School, was a cook and housekeeper at St. Rose Catholic Church Priory for several years and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Kim was an organ and tissue donor to KODA.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Kelty, a son, Michael (Emily) Kelty of Springfield, a daughter, Jennifer Preston of Springfield, her mother, Kay Trayner of Springfield, a brother, Andy (Melinda) Matherly of Springfield, two sisters, Shari (Eddie) Blanford of Springfield and Lana (Ray) Kelty of Springfield, five grandchildren, Vayda, Tilly and Crit Kelty, Zane and Avryn Preston.
Funeral mass for Kimberly Annette Matherly Kelty will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday, October 19, 2023 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. David Farrell and Rev. Edmund Ditton, O.P. officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jack and Grant Matherly, Draven Harvey, Zach Kelty, D.J. Mitchell and Brandon Bartley.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Wednesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Thursday morning.
