Joseph Randall "Randy" Mudd

Joseph Randall "Randy" Mudd age 83 of Fredericktown Rd., died at 11:23 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his residence.

Born January 7, 1940 in Fredericktown, he was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leo and Anna Bernadette Taylor Mudd, a brother, Leroy Mudd, four sisters, Sr. Angela Mudd, SCN, Dot Boone, Norma Mudd and Mary Catherine Mudd, four brothers-in-law, Marvin Boone, Maurice Smith, Billy Mudd and Billy Ray Edelen.

He was a graduate of Fredericktown High School, had worked as an assemblyman in Building 6 at General Electric Co. in Louisville for 35 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He is survived by three sisters, Rose Smith, and Rosemarie (Dr. Joe Pat) Taylor all of Bardstown and Margaret Edelen of Fredericktown, several nieces and nephews and his special caregivers, Lori, Gladys and Vivian.

Funeral mass for Joseph Randall (Randy) Mudd will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, May 19, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Springfield with Rev. Ben Brown and Rev. Tom Clark officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Butch Smith, Jerome and David Mudd, Lambert Boone, Barbara Gallander and Lori Martin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am till time of services at 11:00 am Friday morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Springfield.
