Joseph Frederick "Freddie" Taylor

Joseph Frederick "Freddie" Taylor age 86 of Fredericktown, died at 12:08 am Friday, July 21, 2023 at his residence.

Born August 7, 1936 in Washington County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Albertus and Mary Margaret Newton Taylor, his wife, Bertha Murphy Taylor, January 21, 2013 and a daughter, Tracy Taylor Yates, May 11, 2023.

He was a retired assemblyman in Building 2 at General Electric Co. in Louisville for 38 years, was owner and operator of Taylor Milk Service and FBS Trucking for several years.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown.

He is survived by a son, Billy Ray (Shirley) Taylor of Springfield, a daughter, Joni (Frankie) Cambron of Fredericktown, two sisters, Joyce Smith of Kokomo, Indiana and Linda Slater of Ft. Myers, Florida, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral mass for Joseph Frederick "Freddie" Taylor will be conducted at 10:30 am Monday, July 24, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. David Farrell officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Taylor, Derrick, Zack and Tim Yates, Michael Chilton and Frankie Cambron.

A prayer service will be held 7:00 pm  Sunday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 10:00 am Monday morning.
