John Christopher Hamilton

John Christopher Hamilton age 62, of Lebanon, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at his residence.

Born January 20, 1964 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hamilton.

He was a 1982 graduate of Washington County High School, served 6 years in the 623rd Battery of the Kentucky National Guard in Springfield and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by a son, Johnathan Hamilton of Lebanon, a sister, Asia Hamilton of Lebanon, 3 step sons, Lee Mattingly, Derik (Mandy) Brady and Justin (Bailey) Brady all of Lebanon, 2 step daughters, Olivia and Julia Griffith both of Columbus, Ohio, 3 brothers, Greg (Barbara) Hamilton of Frankfort, Richie (Crystal) Hamilton and Chad (Kendrah) Hamilton all of Springfield, 3 sisters, Valerie (Dohnyal) Thompson and Alicia (George) Sickles all of Louisville and Roxanna Hamilton of Springfield, 3 grandchildren, Alysia and Zayden Tungate and Amiri Hamilton, an aunt, Jeanette (James) Edelen of Springfield.

Funeral mass for John Christopher Hamilton will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Pier Giorgio Dengler, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Mattingly, Derik and Justin Brady, Daniel Tharp, Trevor Railley and John Brammer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnathan Hamilton, Joey Brown, Billy Brady, Benjamin Tharp and Charles Anthony Yantis.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am till time of service Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
