Jeremy Wayne Boblitt

Jeremy Wayne Boblitt, age 45, of Willisburg, Ky passed away Thursday, July 31st in Coxs Creek due to a work related incident.

A native of Willisburg Kentucky, he was born on January 24th, 1980 in Lebanon to Nilah Jean Boblitt (Baker).

Jeremy was a supervisor at Bluegrass Dairy & Foods in Springfield for 15 years. He owned and operated daily, Boblitt Tree Service, LLC for 16 years. Jeremy along with his wife, Karen, own and operate JKES Properties LLC.

Many people knew Jeremy as a friend, a boss, a coworker, and a brother. Most of all, he was a son, a husband, a beloved father, a cousin, an uncle and a nephew.

Preceding him in death were his adored grandparents, “Ma and Pa” Hubert Boblitt, (June 25, 1920- March 10, 2013)  Larvana Scott Boblitt, (March 8,1923-September 30,2021). Three uncles; Travis Boblitt(September 11, 1960), Darrol “Poochie” Boblitt (February 13, 2015), Roger (Susie,living) Boblitt. Two aunts; Maureen Boblitt (December 6, 1954), Betty Kirsch Long (March 21, 2007). His father in-law, Robert Lee (Susan,living) Parrott Jr. (December 10, 2023).

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Karen Leanne Parrott Boblitt. Two daughters, Emilee Paige Boblitt (Nathan)Burkhead; Sarah Elayne Boblitt (Colin Sparrow). His dear mother, Nilah Jean Boblitt (Donnie) and (Tyler Lewis) Baker; All of Willisburg. Five uncles; Gerald (Barbara,decd)Boblitt, Harold(Ethel)Boblitt, Doug (Vicki) Boblitt, Danny (Sandy,decd) Boblitt, Tony (Brenda) Boblitt. Four aunts; Brenda Boblitt, Joyce (Donnie) Alford, Kathleen “Kacky” Boblitt, and Marvis (Ricky) Chesser. Four brothers, Dustin Shouse and Brandon Yates both of Chaplin, Tyler Shouse and Terry Stratton both of Willisburg. Two sisters, Nikki Shouse(Byron) of Raywick and Tessa Shouse(Armando) of Bardstown. A granddaughter, Kinsley Burkhead. Also surviving are seven nephews, two nieces, many loving cousins and friends. Last but certainly not least his beloved “Bucks” (both past and present).

Funeral Services for Jeremy Wayne Boblitt will be held at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, August 5,2025 at River of Life Community Church, 1250 Hwy 555 in Springfield with Bro. Gary Chesser and Bro. Troy Shelton officiating.

Burial will be in The Boblitt Family Cemetery at Tatham Springs in Willisburg, Kentucky.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Boblitt, Tony Boblitt, Joe Milburn, Matt Yates, Wesley Arnett, Shawn Byrd, Lane Curtsinger, and Cameron Morgeson.

Visitation will be at River of Life Community Church from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, August 4, 2024, and again from 8:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday Morning at 11:00 am.
