James Dale Parrott

James Dale Parrott age 61 of Doctor St., Lebanon, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his residence.

Born November 20, 1962 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Abell Parrott, December 15, 2013 and Helen Tennill Parrott, December 5, 2022, a brother, Jerry Parrott, November 25, 1995 and a brother-in-law, Eugene Graves, June 15, 2017.

He was a graduate of Washington County High School, Louisville Electronics, worked as a repairman for Pioneer Electronics in Columbus, Ohio for 20 years, General Electric Co. in Louisville and was an assemblyman at TG KY at the time his death.  He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

He is survived by three brothers, John E. (Linda) Parrott and Abell (Pamela) Parrott Jr. all of Springfield and Larry (Charlotte) Parrott of Willisburg, three sisters, Peggy Graves of Springfield, Bernice (Philip) Warren of Bloomfield and Betty Sue (Jimmy) Elliott of Gravel Switch and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass for James Dale Parrott will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, September 13, 2024 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Springfield with Rev. David Farrell officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenny and Michael Graves, Jamie and Jonathan Warren, Scott, Stephen and Larry Parrott and Mark Tucker.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Thursday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Friday morning.
