Jackie Wheeler Luttrell

Jackie Wheeler Luttrell age 88, of Mattingly Lane, Springfield, formerly of London, KY, died at 9:38 am Friday, November 15,2019 at his residence.

Born January 18, 1931 in Hazard, Perry County, KY, he was preceded in death by his parents, William Stanley and Martha Horn Luttrell, four brothers, Bill, Bobby, Gurney and Sammy Luttrell.

He was a U.S. Navy combat veteran of the Korean War and had also served in the U.S. Army Reserves, he was a supply man for Southeast Coal Company for several years and was a member of East Bernstadt Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ailene Gibson Luttrell of Springfield, a daughter, Kelly Jones of Livingston, two sons, Jackie Wayne (Tammy Jo) Luttrell of Elizabethtown and Michael Steven Luttrell of Springfield, two sisters, Kallie Opal (Frankie) Hall and Margaret Amix all of London, KY, two brothers, Jimmy Lyn (Ruth) Luttrell of Versailles and Mike (Diane) Luttrell of Richmond, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held at House-Rawlings Funeral Home in London at a later date.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield, KY is entrusted with arrangements.
