George Thomas Clements of Lincoln Park Road, Springfield, passed away on October 10, 2025 at Flaget Memorial Hospital with family and friends at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laetitia Rose Keene and Patrick Joseph Clements.
George was a member of St. Dominic Parish. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture. He was a partner in Clements Brothers Farm. Early in his career he held positions in Property Investment and AG Product Sales. His extended family and friendships in the community were important to him. He enjoyed spending time with a group of friends and trading sports stories and supporting the Green Bay Packers.
George is survived by his sister, Rose Marie (Mike) Wilmoth of Lexington and his two brothers, Pat (Rita) Clements of Springfield and Keene (Catherine) Clements of Bardstown.
George is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass for George Thomas Clements will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Hayden officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Patrick, Benjamin, Twyman, Alex, George Edward, and Thomas Clements.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Allen Haydon, Rob Medley, Gerard Carrico, Tommy and Jed Keene.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Tuesday and again from 7:00 till 9:30 am Wednesday morning.
Contributions in memory of George may be made to the Rev. J.T. Blandford Endowment Fund.
George's family wants to thank the community for their kindness to George during his long illness.
