Gary Robert Cambron age 59 of St. Rose-Lebanon Rd., Springfield, died at 4:10 am Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born November 6, 1962 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Robert Cambron, November 2, 2002 and his father, Robert I. (Judge) Cambron, January 19, 1995.
He was a 1981 graduate of Washington County High School and a fork lift operator at Inoac in Springfield. He was a 3rd degree member of Council 4270 Knights of Columbus, Springfield and a member of St. Rose Catholilc Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Harmon Cambron, his mother, Louise Carrico Cambron of Springfield, six brothers, Ronnie (Vivian) Cambron, Ruben Cambron, Frankie (Joanie) Cambron, Joe (Carolyn) Cambron and Tom (Rhonda) Cambron all of Springfield and Bill (Janice) Cambron of Versailles, two sisters, Joyce Cambron of Lexington and Carol (Joe) Mattingly of St. Francis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass for Gary Robert Cambron will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Edmund Ditton, O.P. officiating and burial in St. Rose Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 3:00 till 8:00 pm Tuesday and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am Wednesday morning.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Nick and Joe Cambron, Bobby Dean, Jamie Haydon and Peyton Hughes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Kelly, Boyce Bishop, Tony (Frog) Smith, Billy Harmon, Charlie Mattingly and Karen Smith.
