Frank Calvin Peters III age 83 of Meadow Ln., Lebanon, passed away at 5:40 pm, Monday, November 3, 2025 at his residence.
Born August 4, 1942 in Lexington, he was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Calvin Peters Jr. and Lola Marran Combs Peters, a brother, James Leslie Peters and his first wife, Patsy Simms Peters, June 9, 2017.
Frank attended Western KY University and received an associate's degree from St. Catharine Junior College.
He had been a member of Council 4270 Knights of Columbus where he served as Grand Knight from 1972 to 1974, he had also been a member of the Springfield Lions Club, Springfield Jaycees, Springfield Rotary Club and was named Citizen of the Year in 1990. He had been a loan officer at First & Peoples Bank and Retired in 2011 as Manager of U.S. Bank with a total of 42 years in the banking industry.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Mudd Peters of Lebanon, two sons, Frank (Jennifer) Peters IV of Lawrenceburg and Junior (Johanna) Mudd of Lebanon, four daughters, Rita (Tony) Clark, Janice (Chris) Royalty and Angie (Eddie) Marrett all of Lebanon and Martha (Eddie) Mattingly of Punta Gorda, Florida, and a brother, Bill (Carolyn) Peters of Louisville thirteen grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Mass for Frank Calvin Peters III will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with Rev. Augustine Judd, O.P. officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Walls, Trinity Gribbins, Aams Mattingly, Adam Gootee, Kaleb Wimpsett, Trey Marrett and Tanner Roeder.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, November 10 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Monday and again from 7:00 am till 10:15 am Tuesday.
