Elizabeth Jean "Jeannie" Warner

Elizabeth Jean "Jeannie" Warner age 75 of Bardstown, formerly of Springfield, died at 12:43 pm Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Landmark of Bardstown.

Born March 26, 1949 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Albertus Mattingly Sr., June 20, 2011 and Dorothy Marie DeNardi Mattingly, June 5, 2011, her husband, Jerry Lynn Warner, July 22, 2020, a sister, Linda Sue Mudd, Oct. 5, 1998 and three brothers, Joe Mattingly Jr., Dec. 5, 1986, James "Bo" Mattingly, August 27, 2020 and Charlie Mattingly, June 29, 2022.

She had worked as an operator at Cowden Mfg. Co. in Springfield for several years, was a production worker at SPI in Springfield for several years and was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Leslie (Tim) Bishop of Bardstown, a brother, Jerry (Peggy) Mattingly of Springfield, three sisters, Patsy (David) Smith, Shirley (Billy Ray) Taylor and Sharon Edelen all of Springfield and three grandchildren, Lauren, Lance and Alex Bishop.

Funeral mass for Elizabeth Jean "Jeannie" Warner will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, August 5, 2024 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. David Farrell officiating.  Burial will be St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Taylor, Scott Mudd, Jarrett, Travis and Bobby Joe Mattingly, Willie Smith and Brent and Dakota Edelen.

A prayer service will be held 7:00 pm Sunday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 9:30 am Monday morning.
