Donna Mae (Stevens) Bishop

Donna Mae Stevens Bishop age 70 of Mackville Rd., Springfield, died at 6:57 am Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born January 23, 1948 in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dottie Hathaway Stevens, and a daughter, Tina Marie Bishop, October 31, 1994.

She had worked in furniture sales in Massachusetts prior to moving to Springfield 25 years ago and had worked as a chef at Glenmar Bed and Breakfast at Valley Hill for several years.  She was a catholic by faith.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Bishop Sr. of Springfield, 3 sons, Ed Bishop Jr. of Springfield, Bob Bishop of Rhode Island and Scott Allen Bishop of Springfield, 4 brothers, Kenneth (Mary Ellen) Stevens of West Hampton, Massachusetts, David Stevens of Orange, Massachusetts, Ronnie Stevens of Springfield and Mark (Laurie) Stevens of Florida, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.

Cremation was chosen and a private burial will take place with her daughter at Peter Cemetery in Mackville at a later date.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
