Donald Allen "Donnie" Hamilton age 71 of Harrodsburg, formerly of Washington County, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at his residence.
Born December 21, 1954 in Lebanon, he was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Ivo and Frances Kathleen Greenwell Hamilton, a son, John Bradley Hamilton a brother, Jerry Hamilton and a sister, Theresa Elaine Hamilton.
He was a 1973 graduate of Washington County High School, he was a retired Production worker at American Fugi Seal in Bardstown, was a farmer and a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Gail Riley Hamilton, two sons, Craig (Jessica) Hamilton and Eric (Lori) Hamilton all of Springfield, a daughter, Jamie (Jeremy) Thacker of Burgin, seven sisters, Marilyn (Sam) Carrico and Sharon (John) Hosek all of Louisville, Janice (T.R.) Smith, Kateri (Eddie) Mudd and Angela (Bill) Robinson all of Springfield, Arlene (Richard) Brady of Elizabethtown and Peggy (Tobin) Thomas of Shepherdsville, a sister-in-law, Rose Hamilton of Bardstown and five grandchildren, Corey, Ann Claire and Caleb Hamilton and Lynley and Laykryn Thacker.
Funeral mass for Donald Allen "Donnie" Hamilton will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, May 25, 2026 at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Pier Giorgio Dengler, O.P. is officiating with burial in Peter Cemetery in Mackville.
Pallbearers will be Donnie and Chris Craven, Tony Smith, Terry Lewis, Pat Kelly and Jeremy Thacker.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm Sunday, May 24 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am Monday.
