Deborah Sue "Debbie" (Church) Higdon age 72, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Springfield, died Friday, July 4, 2025 at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, Florida.
Born September 26, 1952 in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was preceded in death by her parents, Almon Willis and Loretta Abigail Hagget Church, her husband, James Marion "Jimmy" Higdon, November 13, 2018, a brother, Bert Arthur Church and four sisters, Ethel Mary Challet, Dorothy Mae Beaulieu, Ellen Ida Lawhorn and Lori Challet Stevens.
She is survived by two sons, John (Jenny) Higdon of Springfield and SSG. Jimmy (Kelsey) Higdon of High Point, North Carolina, four daughters, Terri Murphy of Cox's Creek, Laura Higdon of Bardstown, Kim (Jim Kirzinger) Higdon of Springfield and Sabrina Higdon of Shepherdsville, a foster son, Patrick (Dee) Dyer of El Paso, Texas, a sister, Donna Woznicki Mimitz of Sunderland, Massachusetts, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
Reflections of her life will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 14, 2025 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home where friends may call from 5:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday, July 13 and again from 8:00 am till 11:30 am Monday morning.
Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery in New Haven.
Pallbearers will be Eli and Owen Hinton, Cecilia-Ellen and Alexander Higdon, Crystal Stanwood, Kristin Cambron, Tanya Reyes and Vanessa Mejia.
