Daniel Ross Robinson

Daniel Ross Robinson, age 38 of Lebanon, lost his battle with cancer at 11:54 am Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

Born December 1, 1983 in Louisville, KY, he was preceded in death by his son, Elijah Ross Robinson, June 1, 2020, his maternal grandfather, Sam Browning, his paternal grandparents, Buck and Sadie Lee Robinson and a sister-in-law, Karen Gardiner Hayden.

He was a 2001 graduate of Marion County High School and received associate degrees in Electrical from Elizabethtown Community Technical College and Ivy Tech.  He was a master electrician for Electrical Workers Union 369 in Louisville for 15 years and was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea George Robinson, a son Emmitt Hughes Robinson at home, his parents, Lee and Annette Browning Robinson of Lebanon, 3 brothers Brandon Robinson and Clayton (Lauren) Robinson of Lebanon and Karl (Kate) Robinson of Louisville, a sister, Loren (Levi) Haydon of Loretto, his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Hayden Browning of Lebanon, his father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Faye Mullins George of Lebanon, 2 brother-in-law's, Scott (CeCe) Gardiner of Lebanon and Elmer "Joey" George of Lebanon, 10 nieces and nephews, Avery Mattingly, Violet, Finley and Darcy Robinson, Henry Haydon, Alexis Hayden, Jaxon Wheatley, Shelby Hayden, Elin Gardiner and Lincoln George.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Robinson, Clayton Robinson, Karl Robinson, Levi Haydon, Anthony Green, Brian Blandford, Adam Knopp & Doug Walston.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Farmer, Daniel Knopp, Jamie & Lance Abell, David & Jaffe Browning.

Funeral mass for Daniel Ross Robinson will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with Rev. Mark Hamilton and Deacon Joe Dant officiating.  Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Mary.  Visitation will be from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Tuesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday.  Visitation will again be from 9:00 am till 11:00 am Wednesday morning at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Emmitt Robinson College Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
