Catherine "Tootie" (Wright) Thompson

Catherine "Tootie" Wright Thompson age 82, of Louisville, formerly of Washington County, died at 11:24 am Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born January 18, 1940 in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her parents, George Russell and Louise Cecilia Reed Wright, her husband, Johnnie Douglas Thompson, January 9, 2012 and a sister, Ann Russell Wright.

She had done piecework at Enro Shirt Company in Louisville and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Terry (Cyonne) Thompson of Louisville, two daughters, Deborah Thompson and Donna (Charles) Sickles of Louisville, a brother, George Mike Wright of Radcliff, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral mass for Catherine "Tootie" Wright Thompson will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating.  Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Patrick Haynes, John Fletcher, Brian Wright, Trey Sickles, Jordan Thompson, and Michael Parrish, Jr.

Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:30 am till time of mass at 11:00 am.
