Adeline Lillian Osborne age 95 of W. Main St., Springfield, died at 10:30 pm Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born March 1, 1924 in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Anna Beatrice Fields Osborne.
She was a graduate of St. Catharine Junior College, worked as a clerk and saleperson at Springfield Drug Co. for 30 plus years, was a custodial care person at St. Rose Catholic Church for 35 plus years, had a miscellaneous shop and tuxedo rental on Main St. for several years and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.
She is survived by a brother, Joe Osborne of Lebanon, two sisters, Elizabeth Logsdon of Bardstown and Ruby Osborne of Springfield, six nieces, three nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. and Deacon Donnie Coulter officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements and where friends may call from 5:00 till 8:00 pm Sunday and again from 7:00 am till 9:15 am on Monday.
